Do you ever feel like this? I used to be anxious to try “normal” activities because every time I did anything, I flared up. I’m not talking about the consistent general pain. Flares when you can’t move, you’re bed bound because your muscles totally give up. But since I have been given a blue badge and disability, I am experiencing more “normal” things again. These things have helped me greatly to be able to to go out and enjoy life again. Airports and most venues have accessibility options if you need them. It doesn’t avoid the inevitable, using things like a blue badge just allows me to save that extra bit of energy as my muscles tire easily. But it just eases a little bit of the strain. We just have to put a little thought and planning into our outings and send an email or two to enquire.
